Sanjusangendo Temple (三十三間堂)

Sanjusangendo (三十三間堂) is a Buddhist temple in Kyoto built in 1165. It’s one of the most popular tourists destinations in Kyoto. The main deity of the temple is the Thousand Armed Kannon. And the main hall of the temple is where countless golden Kannon statues stand. There are 1,001 human-sized statues in total and each of them has slightly different features. It is said that you should find the one similar to you!
