Okonomiyaki Katsu(お好み焼き 克) is a popular Okonomiyaki restaurant in Kyoto. According to Tripadvisor, Katsu has been chosen as the most popular restaurant in Kyoto by travellers from all around the world .
The small and cosy family-run restaurant offers simple yet delicious dishes including Okonomiyaki and Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) which are their two specialties. At Katsu, you can enjoy authentic local dishes of western Japan (which go really well with beer!!) . Vegetarian option is also available.
Katsu is located in a residential area of the city, and it might be hard to find for the first time, but it’s very much worth the effort to find. It’s near several famous temples such as Ryuanji Temple and Ninnaji Temple.
