Saitama

Saitama, belonging to Kanto Region, is bordered to the south by Tokyo. There are two top popular sightseeing areas in Saitama. The old town Kawagoe is featured by historical buildings, shrines and temples with the good-old Japanese atmosphere. Chichibu, located in the northern west of the prefecture, offers various nature spots with seasonal attractions surrounded by mountains. Saitama is easy to access from Tokyo by train or car.
