The Tokyo Motor Show is one of biggest car events in the world, which is held every two years at Tokyo Big Sight in Odaiba. At the show, numbers of latest cutting edge vehicles and designs by domestic and international motor brands. There are numbers of exhibitions related to motors not only cars but also motorcycles, gears, parts and tools related to vehicles. The show also offers hands-on experience for guests to have the newest motor experiences such as test-rides. It’s definitely the most faceinating events in Japan for motor fans from all around the world.

Review:

In 2017, I had an opportunity to visit the 45th Tokyo Motor Show for the first time and so please check out my report of the show!

The massive exhibition site is divided into East and West, and world’s big car manufactures display their vehicle ranges including cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles and automobile component. This must be super exciting for motor fans!

There are not only things for someone into motor products, but things to enjoy for everyone.

The booth of “TOKYO CONNECTED LAB 2017” at 4F of the West site allows visitors to experience their futuristic VR content.

THE MAZE -Connecting with a futuristic Tokyo- is a network VR experience by Play Station VR.

Ride on connected car and drive across the maize-like virtual Tokyo city in future and solve mysteries. Maximum 30 vehicles can be connected and play together with other participants.

I can highly recommend to visit the show, of course for motor fans but also someone who aren’t into cars like me 😉 Knowing cutting-edge motor products and technology was quite fun!

The show will be held for 12 days from 24 October to 4 November 2019, so grab a chance if you are in Tokyo!
