Rilakkuma Cafe Kyoto Arashiyama

The Rilakkuma’s themed traditional Japanese style cafe “Arashiyama Rilakkuma Sabo”  in Kyoto.

Rilakkuma is one of most popular characters in Japan created by San-X. The adorable character has attracted fans in past years with temporary pop-up cafes and shops set in several cities in Japan, however this time Rilakkuma went big and fans could not be happier! The first traditional tea house style Rilakkuma Cafe opened in the historical capital, Kyoto in 2017.

The cafe “Arashiyama Rilakkuma Sabo” is themed under traditional Japanese and Rilakkuma, and offers huge variety of food, drinks, snacks and desserts only available here.

The cafe has launched in Arashiyama area in Kyoto, where numbers of top touristic sites are located including the bamboo grove and Togetsukyo Bridge.

Super cute Rilakkuma dishes and drinks in Japanese style are absolutely photogenic. And how amazing to meet the collaboration of adorable Rilakkuma and traditional Kyoto style dishes and desserts! Here are some of cutest things on their menu..

The 2 stories complex building has cafe, take-out shop with eat-in space. There is a Rilakkuma store offering a big choice of goods and take-away sweets including many items only sold here. Make sure to shop before you leave!
